Broccoli Salad

  • 2 pounds broccoli florets, cut into small pieces
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup bacon, cooked and crumbled
  • 1 medium red onion, chopped
  • 1 cup raisins
  • 1 1/2 cups mayonnaise
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 6 tablespoons red wine vinegar
  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine broccoli, cheese, bacon, onion and raisins.
  2. In a separate mixing bowl, combine mayonnaise, sugar and vinegar; whisk until smooth.
  3. Pour over broccoli mixture; tossing well to combine.
  4. Best if prepared a day before serving.
