Brussels Sprouts

Ingredients:

4 slices bacon, chopped
 1 cup chopped walnuts
1 ½ pounds Brussels sprouts, washed and quartered
2 tablespoons honey
¼ cup balsamic vinegar
½ teaspoon salt

Directions:
  1.  In a large skillet, cook bacon over medium-high heat until crispy.  Drain bacon on paper towels.
  2. Reduce heat to medium.  Add walnuts to bacon grease in pan; cook for 1 to 2 minutes, or until fragrant, stirring frequently.  Remove walnuts from pan.
  3. Increase heat to medium-high.  Add Brussels sprouts to pan.  Cook for 7 to 8 minutes, or until softened, stirring frequently. Remove pan from heat.
  4. Put honey in a small bowl.  Slowly add vinegar, whisking to combine.  Add salt, thoroughly incorporating.
  5. Pour vinegar mixture over Brussels sprouts, tossing gently to combine.
  6. Top with walnuts and bacon.  Serve immediately.
