Favorite Football Wings

Ingredients:
 
For the Wings:
  • 1/2 cup soy sauce
  • 1/2 cup Italian-style salad dressing
  • 3 pounds chicken wings and/or drummettes
 
For the Sauce:
  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 1 teaspoon soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup hot sauce or to taste
 
Directions:
  1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
  2. Combine 1/2 cup soy sauce, Italian dressing, and chicken wings in a large, zip-top bag. Close bag and refrigerate 4 hours to overnight.
  3. In a small saucepan, melt the butter. Stir in the 1 teaspoon soy sauce and the hot sauce.
  4. Remove the chicken wings from the marinade and pat dry. Lay the wings in a 9x13 inch casserole dish.  Bake in preheated oven. Turn chicken occasionally, until it is well browned and no longer pink, about 40 minutes.
  5. Place wings in a large bowl. Pour butter sauce over wings; toss to mix well.
  6. Serve with blue cheese or ranch dressing.
