Fish Tacos

  • 1 pound fresh fish fillets, such as mahi mahi or tilapia
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Olive oil
  • Prepared Tartar Sauce
  • Shredded lettuce
  • 3 tomatoes, diced into small pieces
  • 1 ripe avocado, diced into small pieces
  • Prepared Salsa
  • 12 corn tortillas, heated

  1. Heat a skillet or grill pan over medium heat, adding enough olive oil to cover the bottom.  Salt and pepper fish fillets and place in pan.
  2. Cook fish about 4-5 minutes on each side or until thoroughly cooked. Remove from heat.
  3. To assemble tacos, place fish fillet in center of tortilla. Spread lightly with tartar sauce.  Sprinkle with lettuce, tomatoes, avocado and salsa.
  4. Serve immediately.
