Italian Beef Sandwiches

  • 3 pounds sirloin tip roast
  • 3 packages au jus dry mix
  • 2 packages brown gravy with mushrooms dry mix
  • 1 packages Italian salad dressing dry mix
  • 1 packages sub rolls

  1. Spray slow cooker with cooking spray or use a liner.
  2. Place roast in the slow cooker with just enough water to cover the bottom.
  3. Sprinkle two pkgs. of au jus mix, with brown gravy and Italian salad dressing mixes on top of roast.
  4. Cook on low for 6-8 hours.
  5. Before serving, prepare the remaining au jus mix. Serve alongside the sandwiches for dipping.
  6. Slice roast into thin slices. Serve on sub rolls with mayonnaise and mustard.
