Jen’s Brunswick Stew submitted by Jenni Jackson, First Runner-Up in the Soup/Salad Category

Ingredients:
  • 2 pounds pork or chicken (Jen uses 2 large chicken breasts and 1 cup pork)
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon hot sauce
  • 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
  • ½ cup bacon, cooked and chopped
  • ½ cup barbecue sauce
  • 1 ½ cups ketchup
  • 2 cups diced cooked potato (Jen bakes 3 potatoes and chops them with the skins on)
  • 3 cans cream style corn

Directions:
  1. Place all ingredients in a large pot and heat slowly.
  2. Add salt and hot sauce to taste
  3. Makes about 2 quarts.
