Jen’s Brunswick Stew submitted by Jenni Jackson, First Runner-Up in the Soup/Salad Category
Ingredients
:
2 pounds pork or chicken (Jen uses 2 large chicken breasts and 1 cup pork)
½ teaspoon black pepper
1 teaspoon hot sauce
2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
½ cup bacon, cooked and chopped
½ cup barbecue sauce
1 ½ cups ketchup
2 cups diced cooked potato (Jen bakes 3 potatoes and chops them with the skins on)
3 cans cream style corn
Directions
:
Place all ingredients in a large pot and heat slowly.
Add salt and hot sauce to taste
Makes about 2 quarts.
