Molasses Glazed Baby Back Ribs


4 ½ pounds pork baby back ribs
2 liters cola
½ teaspoon salt
½ teaspoon pepper
¼ teaspoon garlic salt
¼ teaspoon onion powder
For sauce:
¼ cup ketchup
¼ cup honey
¼ cup molasses
1 Tablespoon prepared mustard
½ teaspoon cayenne pepper
½ teaspoon salt

  1.  Place the ribs in large resealable plastic bags; add cola.  Seal bags and turn to coat; refrigerate for 8 hours or overnight.
  2. Drain and discard cola.  Pat ribs dry with paper towels.  Combine the seasons and rub over ribs.
  3. Prepare grill for indirect heat; using a drip pan.  Place ribs over pan; grill, covered, over indirect medium heat for 1 hour, or until tender, turning occasionally.
In a small bowl, combine barbeque sauce ingredients.  Brush over ribs;  grill, covered, over medium heat for about 10-20 minutes longer or until browned, turning and basting occasionally.
