Monkey Bread

Ingredients:

3 cans buttermilk biscuits (30)

1 cup light brown sugar

1 ½ sticks butter

2 cups granulated sugar

1 tablespoon cinnamon
Directions:

Preheat oven to 325 degrees.

Cut biscuits into quarters.

Put granulated sugar and cinnamon into plastic bag (leftover sugar/cinnamon mixture can be kept in the refrigerator for making Monkey Bread again).

Put quartered biscuits, a few at a time, in the plastic bag, shake to coat and place all biscuit quarters in buttered tube pan or Bundt pan.

Melt butter and brown sugar and pour over the biscuit quarters.

Bake for at least 35 minutes. (It could take longer if using thicker biscuits so just keep checking with a knife to see when biscuits are cooked.)

Remove pan from oven, put plate over top and invert pan.
This is a terrific “memory-maker” for parents and children!
