Slow Cooker Pot Roast and Vegetables

Ingredients
:
4 pound chuck, round or rump roast
Olive oil
2 tablespoons minced garlic
Garlic salt
Salt and pepper to taste
Montreal Steak Seasoning, to taste
1 can beef broth
1 packet dry onion soup mix
3 cups baby carrots
2 -3 medium Vidalia onions, cut in wedges
5-6 medium potatoes, peeled and cubed
Directions
:
Rub the roast with olive oil and then sprinkle with minced garlic, garlic salt, salt, pepper and steak seasoning.
Brown the roast on all sides in a little olive oil in a large skillet over high heat.
Place in the slow cooker with beef broth.
Sprinkle with dry onion soup mix.
Cover and cook 7 to 8 hours.
