Stuffed Jalapenos by Joel Loggins – Winner in the Appetizer Category
Ingredients:

1 pound jalapenos

1 pound sweet Italian sausage

8 ounces shredded mozzarella cheese

4 ounces cream cheese
Directions:

Cut jalapenos into halves, scoop out seeds and the rib of the pepper.

Place on the cookie sheet and bake for 10 minutes at 350 degrees.

While they are warming in the oven, brown the Italian sausage, drain the oil and mix with the shredded mozzarella cheese and cream cheese.

Stuff the jalapeno halves with sausage and cheese mixture to where the jalapenos are completely full.

Place back in oven for 10 more minutes or until the cheese begins to melt.

Remove from oven and serve while warm.
This recipe will make 24 half peppers.
