Breakfast Casserole (for the Breakfast Lover)


1 pound bulk pork sausage; cooked, drained and crumbled
1 8-ounce tube refrigerated crescent dinner rolls
2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
4 eggs, beaten
¾ cup milk
¼ teaspoon salt
¼ teaspoon pepper
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

  1.  Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
  2.  Unroll crescent rolls on bottom of greased baking dish and slightly up sides.
  3. Spoon sausage over uncooked crust and sprinkle mozzarella cheese on top of sausage.
  4. Mix beaten eggs, milk and salt and pepper.  Pour over sausage and cheese.
  5. Bake for 30 minutes.  Sprinkle cheddar cheese on top and return to the oven for an additional 10 minutes.
