Sweet Potatoes in the Slow Cooker

Ingredients
  • 3 ½ to 4 pounds sweet potatoes, peeled and cut into 2 inch chunks
  • 1 (20 ounce) can apple pie filling
  • ½ cup golden raisins
  • 2/3 cup brown sugar
  • ½ cup butter, cut into small pieces
  • 1 cup pecans, chopped
 
Directions
  1. Lightly spray 4-quart slow cooker with cooking spray.
  2. Layer sweet potatoes, pie filling, raisins, brown sugar and butter.
  3. Cover and cook on low heat for 6-8 hours or high heat 3-4 hours.
  4. Sprinkle with pecans before serving.
