Texas Potato Casserole

Ingredients:

For Casserole:
  • 1 (32 ounce) package frozen hash browns, thawed
  • 1/2 cup butter, melted
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper
  • 1 can mushroom soup
  • 1 pint sour cream
  • 1/2 cup chopped onion
  • 1/2 pound grated sharp cheese
  • Dash of Tabasco
 For Topping:
  • 1 cup crushed corn flakes
  • 1/8 cup butter, melted
 
Directions:
  1. Combine all ingredients except topping.
  2. Pour into 9x12 inch baking dish. Sprinkle crushed corn flakes over top and drizzle melted butter over all.
  3. Bake 45 minutes at 375 degrees.
