Our President

Darrell Wiley graduated from Johnson High School in Oakwood and attended Gainesville State College before receiving an Associate degree from Truett-McConnell College in Cleveland, Georgia. Darrell graduated cum laude from Belmont University in Nashville, Tennessee with a Bachelor of Music degree.
Darrell began his career in retail management in Illinois with a national chain of Christian book stores. In 1984, Darrell returned to Georgia and opened Georgia Music in Gainesville where his company sold pianos, keyboards, and music. The business added sound equipment to its inventory and in 1986, Darrell partnered with an engineer to begin a commercial audio company, Acousticorp. After his father’s illness, Darrell sold both companies and began working in his family’s grocery business in 1991, eventually purchasing the company in 2000.
In addition to Darrell’s involvement in grocery trade organizations,
FMI (Food Marketing Institute) and
NGA (National Grocery Association), he serves on the board of directors of the
Georgia Food Industry Association. He’s been a member of the board of the
Greater Hall Chamber of Commerce and is involved with a variety of local charities. Darrell is married to Crevolyn Barham Wiley and they are the parents of Emily Wiley and Garrett Wiley. The Wileys are residents of Gainesville and members of Lakewood Baptist Church.
